Spiritus In Speculo is Erin Meares’s experimental electroacoustic performance and temporary installation project under An Aperture Sound and Light. Long-form drone, processed environmental and found sound, noise, tuned gongs, strings, unusual acoustic instruments and electronics move between quiet, spacious passages and dense, physical intensity. In the audiovisual formats, video responds to the audio.
